Privacy Policy
General
This notice explains which personal data is processed when you visit wirmuessenreden.at. In short: as little as possible. The site sets no cookies, builds no user profiles, and uses no third-party tracking services.
Server log files
As part of running the servers, the hosting provider automatically collects log data (e.g. IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser identifier). This data serves only to keep the service stable and to fend off attacks. It is not combined with other data sources and is deleted after a short period.
Audience measurement
This website uses a self-hosted, anonymous visitor statistic with no cookies and no third parties. It records the pages viewed, the source (referrer), language, device class, time on page, and scroll depth. The IP address and browser identifier are never stored: to tell visitors apart, an identifier is computed from the IP address, the browser identifier, and a random value that changes every day (a one-way hash). The random value is overwritten daily, which makes recognition beyond a single day, or any profiling, technically impossible. The statistics are deleted after about 13 months. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in understanding how the website itself is used, in anonymized form (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Reactions
When you click a reaction on a page, only the anonymous counter is increased. To prevent abuse, the IP address is stored for at most one minute and then deleted automatically.
External content
This website loads no content from third parties. Fonts are served locally from its own server; opening the page establishes no connection to external services.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
Because the statistics are anonymized, they cannot be traced back to individual visitors after the fact. Requests for access to or deletion of this data therefore cannot be answered in relation to specific individuals (Art. 11 GDPR).
