My name is Gerald Aichholzer. I have worked with digital technology for 25 years, and I use generative AI every day, with real enthusiasm. But that closeness is also where the realization comes from: this time it is not only the tools that are changing. What is changing is how we work, run an economy, and live together.
Who writes here
For more than 25 years I have worked where technology, digital products, and the reality of work meet. Fifteen of those years were in an online marketing agency I co‑founded: hundreds of digital projects, from the small website to the platform for large corporations.
For about ten years now my work has been in product development and product management, mostly in insurance. I use generative AI every day, for research, writing, analysis, prototypes, and automation. As a consultant, trainer, and speaker, I help companies put it to productive use.
Why this site
In workshops and after talks I keep running into the same moment. As long as we are talking about tools and productivity, the room is full of energy. The second the conversation turns to jobs, income, and social cohesion, it goes quiet. Not out of indifference. That conversation simply has not really started yet.
That is what this site is for. It is not an alarm bell, and it has no ready answers. I am using the means I have to make a small contribution: so that we start talking about these changes earlier, instead of only once they have arrived.
